This is an experiment.
I’m starting this blog because I have loads of good ideas; everything from new products and services, to thoughts for TV shows or movies, to general thoughts that I’d just like to share with anyone willing to listen. I’m sharing these ideas here because I don’t currently have the connections or capital to make these ideas a reality, but I know lots of you do.
So, think of this as a whiteboard where we are brainstorming together. I’ll throw out an idea, and I want you to come back with suggestions and additional ideas. You can
- Provide suggestions for how to improve the idea
- Play devils advocate and tell me why it wouldn’t work.
- Tell me if something already exists and share a link to it
- Share stories about how others have turned their ideas into reality
- Offer advice for how to bring it to market
I realize it’s possible, even likely maybe, that someone will see one of my good ideas and do something with them. Believe it or not, I’m fine with that (I wouldn’t be doing this if I weren’t). But, for those of you thinking of doing that, I ask only this – please give credit where credit is due. Ultimately, I believe that people are good, most people will do the right thing and this process will yield good karma in any number of ways.
But I know I have to prove myself to my venerable audience (which right now is an audience of one, me). So add this blog to your newsreader, contribute to the discussion, and stay tuned, we’ll be back right after the break.
