An RSS reader is great when you’re sitting at your computer, but what’s a guy to do when you’re stuck somewhere, far away from your computer, with time to kill - in a long line at the checkout counter, waiting for a train, or stuck in the bathroom with no good reading material? Well, thanks to a company called Virtual Reach you can make productive use of that time out your favorite blogs and newsfeeds with the Viigo RSS reader.
It’s a great Blackberry application that I found a few months ago and now couldn’t live without. Best of all, it’s free! It comes loaded with tons of feeds to choose from and you can add your own. And, because it’s constantly polling for new posts and downloading them to your device, even when you you have no signal, you can still read your posts.
Check it out here. You can enter your mobile email address and they’ll send you a link to download it OTA. After you’ve installed it, click the Viigo icon on the right side of my blog to add My Good Idea to get read my latest posts wherever you are (just keep that information to yourself). It’s totally worth the download.
